Their business revolves around high-traffic peak events and subsequent highly interactive follow-up traffic. Performance and custom software are key to both their business success and their customer experience.\r\n\r\nThe Lottery needed a tech partner who could ensure stable and consistent uptime during high demand with precise execution. They wanted to reduce their reliance on developers to execute every Second Chance contest so they could operate more quickly and independently. <\/p>\n                  <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"flex-wrapper wrap\">\n        <div class=\"flex-3\">\n                      <h3>What we did<\/h3>\n                  <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"flex-7\">\n                      <ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Clockwork\u2019s Tech Ops team collaborated with the Lottery\u2019s team to load balance as visitors spiked and built a fast, slimmed-down version of the website home page that is used during high traffic spikes to ensure uptime.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Established, tested and verified a standard communication protocol to pull entry codes from 3rd-party providers to speed up and simplify the Lottery\u2019s process.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tested the customer experience to validate thinking and design and to assess performance and identify new opportunities with a younger audience.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Providing ongoing maintenance of and support for the Lottery\u2019s website and mobile experience.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n                  <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n\n              <div class=\"flex-wrapper wrap\">\n          <div class=\"flex-3\">\n                          <h3>Client testimonial<\/h3>\n                      <\/div>\n          <div class=\"flex-7\">\n            <div class=\"flex-wrapper wrap\">\n              \n            <\/div>\n\n                          <p>&#8220;I have been very impressed with the level of strategic planning and research that Clockwork has put into our projects.
