This meant updating the technology and their approach to technology. In turn, we applied their residents-first methodology to their site. With education as their first priority, they wanted to put users first, giving them clear and concise information about the County\u2019s role and available services.<\/p>\n                  <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"flex-wrapper wrap\">\n        <div class=\"flex-3\">\n                      <h3>What we did<\/h3>\n                  <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"flex-7\">\n                      <ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Simplified navigation, improved search functionality with Cludo, and reduced content to create a more effective and efficient experience on the County\u2019s public facing website<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Designed and developed the employee intranet to create an accessible internal resource that supported and empowered County employees<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carefully defined audiences and how best to serve them online<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aligned new content and user experience (UX) with the audiences to deliver the \u201cright content at the right time\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Implemented, an intelligent search solution, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cludo.com\/government\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cludo<\/a>, to improve content discovery and deliver a constituent-focused experience<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Used plain language across the site so residents could easily search and understand the information.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Achieved WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standards to ensure accessibility for all<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Built both a responsive website and intranet on the Drupal CMS, deployed on Acquia<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Created a clear scalable training program to ensure success beyond launch<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Defined a governance plan across county staff with clear business rules for future content creation and placement<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Identified priorities to support ongoing development and maintenance by the county\u2019s staff<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n                  <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n\n              <div class=\"flex-wrapper wrap\">\n          <div class=\"flex-3\">\n                          <h3>Client testimonial<\/h3>\n                      <\/div>\n          <div class=\"flex-7\">\n            <div class=\"flex-wrapper wrap\">\n              \n            <\/div>\n\n                          <p>\u201cThe new site is everything I hoped it could be.
